Malaysia’s GTA Extend Safran Helicopter Engines Contract

THE 2024 Farnborough Airshow has marked a significant milestone for Global Turbine Asia (GTA), reinforcing its status as the leading reference in Malaysia for helicopter gas turbine engines. The event witnessed the signing of a three-year extension contract of the Certified Maintenance Centre (CMC) agreement with Safran Helicopter Engines, furthering a successful 14-year partnership with the renowned Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in France.

The extension of the agreement underlines GTA’s commitment to maintaining its position as the leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centre in Malaysia for helicopter turbine engines. Over the past 14 years, GTA has developed robust technical capabilities, enabling in-country maintenance and repair services of up to Level 3 for various engine families.
