LIG Nex1, Airbus Defence & Space Sign MOU

LIG Nex1 and Airbus Defence & Space signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to expand their strategic partnership and cooperation in advanced defence and aerospace technologies. Under the MOU signed at the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition (ADEX) 2025, the two firms plan to broaden their collaboration beyond existing joint projects to include integrated air defence systems and digital defence solutions.

Additionally, both sides will also work together to explore wider industrial cooperation opportunities, including support for South Korea’s national space programmes. LIG Nex1 and Airbus DS have already built a cooperative relationship through an agreement to strengthen future cooperation in the field of integrated air defence systems.
