Pacific Commander USCG, Vice Admiral Linda L Fagan

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) vessel, USCGC Stratton was in Southeast Asia recently as part of its operational deployment in the Indo-Pacific region. Here, the USCG took part in some of the exercises with maritime counterparts, with the most recent being the Maritime Training Activity (MTA) exercise with the Royal Malaysian Navy and US Navy. ADJ had the opportunity to have a one-onone meeting with USCG Pacific Commander, Vice Admiral Linda L Fagan, which she spoke in length on the role and the challenges faced by the USCG, updates on the National Security Cutter programme, and engagement with regional partners to maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific.
