New Date for Milipol Asia-Pacific
For several months, the Milipol Asia-Pacific team in Singapore have been diligently working to support the community. Along with the relevant national authorities in Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region, the organisers, Comexposium Singapore, have been relentlessly preparing the next edition of Milipol Asia-Pacific to be a platform to help recover and to reinvigorate both the defence and homeland security industry.
In this challenging period, the organisers have also honed the community’s health and safety procedures and put in place new initiatives so as to ensure the event is as successful and safe as possible.
However, as a result of the evolution of regulations regarding the ongoing COVID-19 situation and its consequences such as restricted air travel, the organisers will be postponing Milipol Asia-Pacific to May 18 – 20, 2022.
Andrew Marriot, the chairman of Comexposium Singapore, said that all members of the organising team will continue to work tirelessly to provide the participants with the best conceivable service as the organisers never prioritise anything above the ultimate success of the show to all its participants and their well-being.
He added that despite the current challenges in the world and in this sector, security remains a priority for all regional governments so the organisers are working hard on ensuring Milipol Asia-Pacific provides both participants and visitors with the ideal platform for the regional security industry to network in harmony.
Rest assured however, the organisers will continue to deliver their best and to remain as the preferred partner to this community and will forward to seeing in the upcoming event in May. (shp/adj/kf) PHOTO: Comexposium, Kelvin Fong/ADJ
