New Acting Commander-In-Chief of Russian Navy

Admiral Alexander Moiseyev has been officially appointed as the acting commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy. Adm Moiseyev has been Commander of the Northern Fleet since 2019, commanded the Black Sea fleet and was deputy chief of the Russian general staff. A career submariner who served on nuclear-powered submarines, he was made a Hero of Russia in 2011.
