North Korea Unveils Brand New Tank

In a competition between tank crews, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has showcased an all-new main battle tank during the event. The nation’s leader Kim Jong Un oversaw a competition between Korean People’s Army (KPA) tankers in combat training scenarios utilising a new type of tank in addition to other tanks. Sat in the driver seat of the still-undesignated tank, Kim drove the vehicle around after the competition ended. Also in attendance was the DPRK Defence Minister Kang Sun Nam.

“Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction that the new type linear tank, which was unveiled at today’s tank competition, had shown outstanding combat capacity, powerful strike ability and high manoeuvrability. He said that our army’s possession of the most powerful tank in the world was a strong reason to be proud,” a release from the state news agency Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
