Langkawi’s LIMA Maritime and Aerospace Show In May 20-24, 2025
The largest aerospace and maritime show in the Asia-Pacific region and the only remaining show of its kind in the world – the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition – will be centre stage next year.
LIMA 2025 will be held at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre and the Langkawi International Airport on the resort island of Langkawi, in northern Malaysia’s Kedah state. The unique maritime and aerospace exhibition themed “Innovate Today, Thrive Tomorrow” was launched by Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari.
To be held from May 20 to 24 next year, the show will emphasise the importance for industry players to innovate constantly and enhance competitiveness, in line with the rapid technological advancements.
Show organisers, Global Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn Bhd (GEC) say LIMA ‘25, the 17th edition of the exhibition, has garnered strong response from companies both domestically and internationally.
“It proves that the LIMA exhibition is an event that local and international players in the aerospace and maritime industry look forward to”, Minister Zahari said after officiating the LIMA ‘25 Pre-Launch Ceremony at Wisma Perwira ATM Kuala Lumpur..
Also present were Chief of Defence Force (CDF) Gen Mohammad Ab Rahman, Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) secretary-general Isham Ishak, Air Force chief Gen Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan, and Navy deputy chief VAdm Zulhelmy Ithnain.
LIMA ’25 is jointly organised by MINDEF and GEC, GEC had established a strategic collaboration with Arabian World Events, QUBE Integrated Malaysia, SHP Media, Curio Pack, Malaysian Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) and Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MiGHT).
LIMA ’25 will introduce several new segments to attract more participation from small and medium-sized enterprises to be part of the exhibition for both aerospace and maritime segments.
Asian Defence Journal (ADJ) has been appointed official Magazine and Show Daily publisher for the LIMA 2025, another mark of recognition for the publishing house as the official media partner for most of the key defence and security shows in the region,
