CAAM Acceptance Approvals For Omnipol-MYCAS Partnership

AIRCRAFT Industries a.s. of the Czech Republic has received the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) Type Acceptance Approvals for its L 410 NG and L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft (including their engines and propellers), hence making them eligible to be operated under Malaysian registration. Therefore, they are now commercially available to potential Malaysian operators. The news was announced at the 17th Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA’25) in Malaysia on May 23, by Omnipol Group’s Malaysian partner, Mycopter Aviation Services Sdn Bhd (MYCAS).

MYCAS, based in the state of Selangor in Malaysia, offers Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMO), Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), Design Organisation Approval (DOA) and Aircraft Weighing Service, among other services.

At LIMA’25, the Omnipol Group booth and MYCAS team were visited by a number of VVIPs, which included the Regent of Perlis, HRH Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Minister of Defence Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, and Deputy Works Minister Ahmad Maslan.

L 410

MYCAS is an appointed sales representative of Aircraft Industries. The former provides after sales services, maintenance support, spare parts and training for Aircraft Industries’  specializing in the renowned L 410 turboprop aircraft – the L 410 NG and L 410 UVP-E20. The L410NG (Next Generation) is the latest iteration of the L 410 series, featuring several enhancements that elevate its performance and efficiency. Key features of the L 410NG include:
