THAILAND announced a military reshuffle, with 805 senior military officers being appointed across the Ministry of Defence, Royal Thai Armed Forces (RTARF) Headquarters, Royal Thai Army (RTA), Royal Thai Navy (RTN) and Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF). The new appointments are to take effect from October 1.
Leading the list are General Saran Pecharanond who was appointed Permanent Secretary for Defence and Admiral Narate Wongtrakoon who takes over as RTN Commander-in-chief. Other appointments include:
