Mildef Wins Order from Malaysian Army for Light Forward Repair Vehicles
Malaysian defence company Mildef International Technologies has won a contract to supply Light Forward Repair Vehicles to the Malaysian Army.
The order is for several vehicle units developed in-house by Mildef at its R&D center in Sepang, Malaysia.
The Light Forward Repair Vehicle will equip units under the Malaysian Army Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and the order is set to be completed and delivered soon
The vehicle is based on the Toyota Hilux platform.
The Light Forward Repair Vehicle is built on a reinforced flatbed and with the on-board crane, powerful generator, air compressor, welding machine, cutting tools and full range of diagnostic and hand tools.
The Light Forward Repair Vehicle crew will be equipped to support a wide spectrum of operations, from installation of weapons and sensitive equipment in base locations to urgent field repairs of damaged vehicles to get them back into battle quickly. –adj/mhi (Pix: Mildef)
