Thai H225M Attains 10,000 flight hours

THE Royal Thai Air Force’s (RTAF) Airbus H225M/EC725 helicopters attained the achievement of 10,000 flight hours on the platform on 22 November, marking the achievement with an event attended by RTAF Commander-in-Chief Air Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul.

Airbus’ H225M has been in service with the RTAF since 2015 and has been deployed for HADR and military missions in and around Thailand since then.

Currently, 170 H225Ms are in service across the world including Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia in the region. After the Philippines was greatly affected by Tropical Storm Kristine, the Malaysian and Indonesian air forces deployed their H225Ms to the Philippines for HADR operations.-shp/adj/dl (Pix:RTAF)
