AIROD Aerospace Technology Selected as the Preferred MRO Provider for Berjaya Air’s ATR Fleet
SUBANG – AIROD Aerospace Technology Sdn Bhd (AAe) announced that AAe has been selected as BA’s preferred MRO service provider for its ATR fleet.
The services include any other collaborative efforts, projects or dealings that shall be mutually identified and agreed upon by both parties, the company said in the May 24 announcement.
The agreement was signed by Captain Norell Azmi Norazam, General Manager of Berjaya Air and Edron Hayata Ahmad, Senior Vice President Aerospace.
AAe said in the press release that the company is honoured with this strategic collaboration with Berjaya Air in the field of ATR fleet maintenance for this region. With its hangar capacity in Subang, the company have extensive maintenance support and look forward to serve other customers which require maintenance services in the near future.
AIROD Aerospace Technology (AAe), a subsidiary of AIROD commenced its operation in 2012 as a commercial MRO under the expansion plan of National Aerospace Defence Industries (NADI). AIROD’s
commercial unit metamorphose into AAe to enhance the Commercial Aviation MRO expertise and services coverage.
AAe’s management and technical team have accumulated an average of 25 years commercial airlines
and MRO experience. As an independent MRO, the company is dedicated in providing quality and competitive labour rates, ensuring a reliable and fastest turn-around-time (TAT) along with superior customer service.
AAe is a Part 145 AMO certified by Civil Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), the Federal Aviation Authority
(FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and a few other national civil aviation authorities.
Berjaya Air Sdn Bhd (“Berjaya Air”) was established and started its operations in 1989. Presently, the company operates exclusively from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport’s Subang SkyPark Terminal.
