ROSOBORONEXPORT (part of the Rostec State Corporation) is organising a joint Russian exhibit at DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026. “We are very proud to present Russian defence products in Malaysia, with which our country enjoys strong economic, cultural, scientific and technical ties,” says its director-general, Alexander Mikheev, who added: “We are optimistic about the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation and are ready to continue equipping the Malaysian armed forces with the most modern systems to strengthen national sovereignty and defence capability.

“At DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026, Rosoboronexport is showcasing the latest Russian products, tested in real-world conditions and proven in combat and operational performance. These products include the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, which we are ready to supply only to Russia’s reliable partners, the S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system, loitering munitions, and unmanned aerial vehicles.”

The advanced fifth-generation multirole fighter, the Su-57E, is a key exhibit at Rosoboronexport’s stand. It boasts real combat experience, including the use of long-range air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles against modern enemy air defense and electronic warfare systems. The aircraft is an excellent option for the modernisation and development of the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

The Su-57E is generating great interest among Rosoboronexport’s partners, several of whom have already contracted for the Russian fighter. The list of customers for this aircraft is steadily expanding. In the air defence segment, the company showcases the S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system, developed by the Almaz-Antey Air Defence Concern, which has demonstrated a high capability in combat conditions to engage a wide range of aerial targets, including in fully automatic mode.

In the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) section, Rosoboronexport showcases both reconnaissance systems and loitering munitions, which have the most extensive combat experience to date. These include: S350M-E (Supercam S350) short-range UAV system; Lancet-E reconnaissance and strike system from ZALA; KUB-2E system with guided loitering munitions, RUS-PE reconnaissance and strike system, and SKAT 350M reconnaissance UAV – all three developed and produced by the Kalashnikov Concern. As part of the unified Russian exhibit at the Special Technology Centre, Rosoboronexport presents the Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 multifunctional UAV systems, which are currently successfully used in more than 20 countries, to partner delegations.

In the small arms segment, Rosoboronexport displays the 9mm Lebedev pistol, the PPK-20 submachine gun, the latest line of Kalashnikov assault rifles, including the AK-15, AK-19, and AK-308, the RPL-20 belt-fed light machine gun, the Chukavin SVCh sniper rifle, and the ORSIS T-5000 carbine.

The company offers a wide range of equipment for special operations forces. These include the Neptune-1 positively buoyant body armour, the DHF 4-28×56 Harrier intelligent daytime optical sight, thermal imaging sights and reconnaissance devices, and the ANTISVID-2N optoelectronic device. The Russian solution for countering modern cyberattacks, Echo, is presented for the first time in the cybersecurity zone.

Rosoboronexport also showcases various inspection and screening systems and security equipment for transport hubs, crowded areas and secure facilities. These include portable detectors for explosives, narcotics, and hazardous chemical and biological agents.

Rosoboronexport’s business programme at DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026 includes meetings with delegations from the Ministry of Defence and other security agencies of Malaysia and Russia-friendly countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, negotiations are planned with representatives of public and private companies on expanding military-technological cooperation projects with Russian enterprises.
