P2 Tiger Roars In Bangkok

INDONESIA’S SSE has debuted its latest P2 Tiger armoured personnel carrier here in Bangkok which developed in just 12 months with the help of its industry partner–Texelis from France.

The P2 Tiger was first unveiled in January and marks the firm’s readiness to break into international export markets and strengthen Indonesia’s defence industry. Able to carry 10 personnel including a crew of 2, the Tiger drives like a standard SUV while possessing STANAG 4569 Level 2 protection against 7.62mmx39 and can be upgraded to a STANAG 4569 Level 4 protection.= 14.5×114 AP/B32.

Aside from its armour, the Tiger is always aware of its surroundings with 360° gunshot detection while atop the Tiger is a 20mm gun on a remote controlled weapon station (RCWS). Weighing around 18,000kg, it can easily be transported via air aboard a C-130 Hercules airlifter.
