Naval Group Looking To Strengthen Asia-Pacific Foothold

NAVAL Group is looking to reinforce its strategic positioning in Asia-Pacific – exhibiting at DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026 the company’s Scorpene-class submarine and the latest Belharra (FDI) frigate. In addition to the company’s involvement with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) programme, Naval Group is looking to expand Malaysia’s sub-surface fleet which currently consists of two Scorpene submarines. 

Indonesia also recently selected the Scorpene Evolved submarines while Malaysia previously had plans to purchase two more submarines in 2023, with the procurement split to one submarine in the 14th and 15th Malaysia Plans respectively.
