Cyber Sierra: Governance, Security, Insurance For Every Business

ASIAN Defence Journal speaks to the Cyber Sierra co-founder, Pramodh Rai, on the firm and its participation in the Singapore Airshow 2026.

ADJ: For those new to Cyber Sierra, could you give us an overview of what the company does and the core solutions you offer?

PR: Cyber Sierra builds AI-powered security workflows that turn a team’s trusted internal signals into audit ready outputs such as board presentations, audit evidence packs, compliance reports and risk summaries in audit, cyber operations or security compliance environments. Security teams and compliance leaders use Cyber Sierra to automate high-stakes work like control monitoring, vendor and asset risk reviews, incident postmortems and regulatory-ready documentation that normally takes days (or weeks) of manual cross-checking.

The platform’s key advantages are trust and precision. Cyber Sierra’s AI Analysts reason across the organisation’s security stack, write the steps needed to extract and map evidence against controls, and then generate finished deliverables with verification built in. In practice, Cyber Sierra can produce and validate reports in minutes, flagging gaps and inconsistencies that expert human teams often miss when they’re working under deadline pressure or cognitive overload.

*Winner of the 2025 Translation and Innovation Award by CyberSG Research & Development Programme Office (CRPO), 2024 AI Trailblazer Innovation Award (Smart Nation Singapore x Google) and notably recognised in The Gartner Hype Cycle for Cyber Risk Management 2024 in 2 categories (Cyber GRC and CCM), Cyber Sierra serves global enterprises and government agencies to advance resilience in the current age. Cyber Sierra is headquartered in Singapore, where it is recognised as a Top Innovative Technology Company in the IMDA Spark Program.

ADJ: As a young cybersecurity startup, what specific gap or industry pain point led to Cyber Sierra’s founding?

PR: We kept seeing the same problem across security operations and compliance teams: talented professionals buried in manual, time consuming and repetitive work. This involves gathering evidence from dozens of systems, cross-referencing spreadsheets, chasing colleagues for attestations, all while being skeptical of ground reality meeting the bar required by security controls.

The irony is stark. Organisations invest heavily in sophisticated security tools, yet revert to copy-and-paste workflows and fragmented documentation in audit, cyber operations or security compliance environments. This is causing wasted expertise, delayed audits and gaps that slip through humans simply because they cannot maintain attention across hundreds of controls and thousands of evidence artifacts. We founded Cyber Sierra to close this gap.

ADJ: What are the company’s goals with participation in the Airshow? What partnerships or ecosystem opportunities are you hoping to explore there?

PR: The Singapore Airshow is a venue for Cyber Sierra to shine a spotlight on the critical role of AI in cybersecurity in the aviation and aerospace ecosystem, building on our work with the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Agile Innovation Digital (RAiD) unit, which we shared about earlier in 2025.

Aerospace and defence represent some of the most demanding environments for security assurance, where scrutiny is intense, supply chains are complex and consequences of a breach are severe.

Cyber Sierra is present at the Airshow with three objectives:

– Demonstrate how AI-driven workflows build institutional capacity in cyber operations, security compliance and audit environments. This allows teams to tap into expertise and automation to accelerate compliance and risk management while maintaining standards in rigour.

– Connect with system integrators, MSSPs and technology partners who serve aerospace, defence and critical infrastructure clients. Our platform is designed to complement existing security investments and we are actively building an ecosystem of partners who can bring these capabilities to their customers.

– Engage leaders in sharing how trusted AI can strengthen their security posture while reducing operational burden on lean, and often stretched, teams. We believe enormous gains stand to be experienced from AI automation that is transparent, auditable and built for high assurance environments.

ADJ: Cybersecurity is at the top of list for governments, companies, individuals, organisations and such, how does Cyber Sierra serve its clientele in this digital era?

PR: The key challenge in cybersecurity today is the burden of proving that the suite of security tools work. Boards want assurance, regulators seek evidence while customers’ trust is affected by news of breaches. Security teams are caught in the middle, often spending more time on documentation than on defence.

Cyber Sierra serves our clients by driving automation in the proof layer. We connect to the tools and systems organisations already use, gather evidence continuously and generate the reports, attestations and audit packs that stakeholders require, all with traceability to the source.

For enterprises, this means faster audits, lower compliance costs and more time for security teams to drive strategic work. In relation to government agencies, it means demonstrable, repeatable assurance that keeps pace with evolving mandates. For regulated industries, it means staying ahead of compliance obligations without scaling headcount linearly

With Cyber Sierra’s agentic AI capabilities, it further means building institutional expertise as well as capacity.

ADJ: What are some of the main product highlights for Cyber Sierra here at the Singapore Airshow?

PR: At the Airshow, we are demonstrating how our SierraAI platform and AI Analysts perform tasks that amount to constant watchful eyes on security controls. Deviations get flagged instantly. Visitors can watch simulations of how our AI detects anomalies and potential vulnerabilities before they escalate.

Automated audit and compliance reporting: We know that aviation and defence organizations deal with stringent regulations from safety authorities, data protection laws, et cetera. One highlight of our product is the ability to generate audit ready reports on demand. We will be showing how Cyber Sierra’s AI analysts perform automated evidence reconciliation from various data sources and compile compliance reports. What normally takes weeks is cut down to minutes here.

AI-driven risk assessments and incident analysis: Cyber Sierra will showcase how its AI analysts drive automation in vendor risk reviews, where the platform evaluates n-th party risk by scanning security attestations, cross-checking with threat intel and giving immediate risk rating as well as recommended actions.

Trusted multi-agent architecture: Cyber Sierra will be emphasising its focus on trust and precision in everything we demonstrate. By employing Cyber Sierra’s multi-agent architecture, a team of AI agents focussed on different tasks, Airshow visitors can gain an understanding of how the platform not only drives automation but does so in a governed and verifiable manner.

Overall, the product highlights Cyber Sierra is presenting at the Airshow are meant to demonstrate how operational tasks can be made simple, performed intelligently and grow security resilience. Based on great questions and feedback we have received from Cyber Sierra’s engagements so far, these highlights are intended to spark interest in how agentic AI capabilities can be applied in real-world scenarios.
