RECON Tactical Helmet Launch @ DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026
AT the 19th Defence Services Asia 2026 and the 4th National Security Asia 2026 (DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026) exhibition and conference, Team Wendy launches its newest bump helmet, the RECON Tactical, for military and special forces operators. Designed to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability, the RECON Tactical meets NATO AEP 2902–H and US ACH AR/PD 14-02 blunt impact protection levels.

Its lower profile Hybrid shell with carbon fiber panel reinforces crown protection; and its proprietary Zorbium foam pad liner set with lattice cooling pads provides impact protection while ensuring maximum comfort even during long wear.
The RECON Tactical provides lightweight head impact protection while ensuring compatibility with the full range of mission critical systems that enhance the user’s situational awareness in dynamic environments. This includes accessory mounting with mil-std interfaces for Night Vision Goggles, headsets and lights, among others. Wearer comfort is enabled via the adjustable eight-piece Zorbium foam pad liner set; BOA dial; a soft headband; and CAM FIT chin strap for reduced pressure along the jawline, and precise, effortless one-handed adjustment. The head stays cooler thanks to airflow through shell vents and the custom cooling pads.
Team Wendy’s bump helmets are developed using the latest scientific and medical research into understanding and preventing traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). The RECON line has been rigorously tested both internally and independently to ensure protection levels effectively mitigate a wide range of impact forces.
“Whether caused by a fall, blunt force impact or rotational impact, TBIs can have life-long effects for the military personnel who suffer them,” said Team Wendy product category manager Bryan Javorek. “The RECON Tactical is the latest in our portfolio of helmets designed to effectively mitigate a wide range of impact forces, from low-energy sub-concussive blunt impacts to more serious falls and collisions.”
The RECON Tactical helmet is on display on Team Wendy’s booth (#3700QW) at DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026, along with its full range of bump and ballistic helmets.
