The Japan Self-Defence Forces (JSDF) are among the most modern forces in the Asia-Pacific. Throughout the years, the service has been actively carrying out plans to modernise all services under its jurisdiction–the Japan Ground Self- Defence Force, Japan Air Self-Defence Force, and Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force.
