LACROIX Inks Agreement to Joint Venture with Middle East Firm

Remah International Group (RIG) via Gulf Aerospace Company (GACO) and Etienne Lacroix Group via Lacroix Defense, have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture firm named Gulf ACM manufacturing in the UAE.

The agreement was signed today in the Remah International Group (RIG) stand at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2023 by Chairman and Managing Director of RIG, Mohamed Khalfan Al Qemzi and Lacroix Defense’s Chief Operations Officer, François Moulinier.

“The vision for the Defense Industry in UAE is clear and on target, we are honoured to partner with Etienne Lacroix Group and the UAE Armed Forces to support the vision and build a product made in the UAE that we can be proud of.” said Mohamed Khalfan Al Qemzi.

“Following the work we have undertaken to develop our presence in the UAE for over 30 years, we are delighted to strengthen our long-standing relationship with GACO a branch of Remah International Group through the creation of this JV Gulf ACM (Airborne Countermeasures).”

“This initiative is our next step, and it will further enhance UAE defence and security technology capabilities, while contributing to the expansion of innovative career opportunities within the region” said François Moulinier.

The manufacturing facility in the UAE will use advanced countermeasure technologies and sustain the local employment with the core focus on developing and supporting the local aerospace and defence industry and better serve the UAE Armed Forces. –shp/lcx/aaa (Image: Lacroix)
