Embraer KC-390, E195-E2 Power Pairing For Singapore Airshow
EMBRAER announced its presence at the 10th edition of the Singapore Airshow, taking place from February 3-8. On display is the versatile multi-mission KC-390 Millennium tactical transport aircraft and the world’s quietest, most fuel-efficient aircraft, the E195-E2,
Embraer’s strong presence at the Singapore Airshow demonstrates its commitment to growth in the Asia Pacific region, and celebrates several key milestones in recent years:
- Embraer Defense & Security signing a Memorandum of Understanding with South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA).
- The inauguration of its India office in New Delhi, which adds to the network of offices in Asia Pacific.
- Embraer Defense & Security and Mahindra Group entering a Strategic Cooperation Agreement (SCA) with to advance the C-390 Millennium solution for the Indian Air Force’s Medium Transport Aircraft (MTA) program.
- Significant airline momentum for Embraer Commercial Aviation with Scoot operating its full E190-E2 fleet across more destinations in the region since the start of its E2 operations in May 2024; Virgin Australia’s first E190-E2 commencing operations in November 2025; and All Nippon Airways (ANA) ordering 15 E190-E2s aircraft with options for an additional five aircraft.
- The establishment of Asia Pacific’s first E-Jets E2 full flight simulator (FFS) in Singapore by the Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS) joint-venture.
These advancements reinforce Embraer’s regional commitment and expand its presence across all business units – Commercial Aviation, Defense, Executive Jets, Services & Support.
“The dynamic Asia-Pacific region is a key growth driver for Embraer, and we see significant opportunities across the aerospace and defence sectors. “Airlines in the region increasingly view the E-Jets and E2 as strategic assets for strengthening connectivity across APAC. At the same time, we see strong potential for the KC-390 Millennium as the aircraft continues to gain global traction, demonstrating its multi-mission capability, reliability, and efficiency”, said President and CEO of Embraer Francisco Gomes Neto.
Eve Air Mobility, part of the Embraer group, will also be present at the show. In December 2025, Eve completed the first flight of its uncrewed, full‑scale eVTOL prototype at Embraer’s test facility, marking the start of its flight‑testing campaign and validating the integration of key systems, including the fifth‑generation fly‑by‑wire architecture and fixed‑pitch lifter rotors. Test operations will continue throughout 2026, progressively expanding the flight envelope as the aircraft transitions into full wing‑borne flight.
Embraer has been in APAC for nearly five decades since the first aircraft operated in the region in 1978. Singapore serves as the hub for Embraer’s Asia Pacific operations, including a Regional Distribution Centre that houses over US$100 million in parts, and an E2 simulator that provides essential pilot training for airlines across the region. This in addition to the Company’s office in Beijing, China.
