HAVELSAN, Widad Group Signs Memorandum of Collaboration

Turkish electronic firm, HAVELSAN made another breakthrough with the signing of Memorandum of Collaboration with Malaysian company, Widad Business Group (WBG). The agreement will see that HAVELSAN supplying six units of parachute simulators to WBG.

HAVELSAN has been supplying the parachute simulator to the Turkish Armed Forces, that has been used by the commando brigade and Special Forces units. The agreement was signed during the DSA & NATSEC Asia exhibition and conference here in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia is an important hub for HAVELSAN in the Southeast Asia region, therefore we are pleased to have found a reliable partner in WBG to be able to expand our reach and enhance our ties in the country.” said CEO & General Manager of HAVELSAN, Dr Mehmet Akif Nacar.

The parachute simulator offers users training in repeatable and safe environment in a short time.  Its features such as a high-resolution database and virtual reality allow vital skills to be developed in real-time under a wide range of weather conditions, emergencies and variable wind conditions.
