Brunei Acquires New Airbus C295

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN/ GETAFE: Airbus Defence and Space sealed another sale in the Asia-Pacific region as Brunei inked a contract for the acquisition on the for the C295 tactical transporter.

This will make the Sultanate the 39th operator of the aircraft worldwide and the eighth in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new order reinforces the C295’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region with the Royal Thai Army, Philippines Air Force, Vietnam People Air Force, Indonesian Air Force, and Indonesian Police and, from next year, the Indian Air Force and the Bangladesh Army, operating the aircraft.
