Postponement of Defense & Security 2021
With the on-going uncertainty and concern for the rising number of daily infected COVID-19 cases in Thailand, the Thai government has imposed a number of restrictions including the temporary closure of public venues while continues to keep travel restrictions imposed.
Following consultations between the organising committee, the Thai Ministry of Defence, Royal Thai Armed Forces, partners, and supporters, a decision was made to defer the Defense & Security 2021 show, which was scheduled to be held on November 1-4, 2021 at IMPACT Exhibition Centre, Bangkok, Thailand, to a later date in 2022. The new dates are set on August 29 to September 1, with the venue unchanged, which is Challenger 1 and 2 Halls at IMPACT in Muang Thong Thani.
According to both Thai government and organisers, GML Exhibition (Thailand), this is in the best interest for the health and safety of all concerned, especially that of the participants and visitors.
The decision to host the show in 2022, when international trade and business are expected to return in full force, will ensure the participants can enjoy the high-quality event that they have come to expect.
The prioritised concern is to create a safe and secure business environment for all participants including the visitors. By rescheduling the event to 2022, the show will be able to offer better values to all participants including those from quality local and oversea trade visitors, key decision makers, and official delegations.
